Download Windows 7 RC

 No Need to Rush: Microsoft has mentioned that the downloads and product keys will be available at least through July. So you don't need to rush downloading the RC if you are not going to install it right away.

Clean Install Needed: If you are using the Beta of Windows 7, you will need to backup all your data and do a clean install of the RC.

Expiration Dates: Be aware that the Beta will expire August 1, 2009; Windows will notify you about the expiration process and will begin to shut down your computer on July 1, 2009.The RC will expire June 1, 2010 and the bi-hourly shutdowns will start on March 1, 2010.

Minimum System Requirements: Here is the minimum system requirementsof the RC. (These requirements may change for the final version of Win7):

• 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) / 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

• 16 GB available disk space (32-bit) / 20 GB (64-bit)

• DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

You will need a Windows Live ID to download and get your key. If you don't have one you can sign-up for free in the download process.
